Day 229 of 320

Day 229: Longer Than My Sermons

It's Saturday morning, the chores are waiting, and Cedric (A), a teenager, is still playing games on his phone when his mother Analyn (B) calls him for the third time.

How to study this lesson 3 steps
  1. Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
  2. Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense.
  3. Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Tagalog. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it yet.

Dialogue

Audio for this lesson is coming soon. For now, read the dialogue and its translation.

    You're so lazy, Cedric!

  3. A

    Sermon na naman po?

    Another sermon?

  4. B

Mas matagal ang games mo kaysa sa sermon ko!
