Day 122: No Credit Today, Only Tomorrow
Home from college for the summer, Jestoni (B) goes through the notebook where his grandmother, Lola Feling (A), writes down what the neighbors buy on credit at her sari-sari store.
How to study this lesson 3 steps
- Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
- Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense.
- Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Tagalog. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it yet.
Dialogue
Audio for this lesson is coming soon. For now, read the dialogue and its translation.

What are you looking at in my credit list, dear?
-

-
A
E kapag naningil ako, lalo naman akong mahihiya!
But if I do collect, I'll be even more embarrassed!
-
B
