How to study this lesson 3 steps
- Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.

A
Kayo po ba ang tatay ni Oliver? Upo po kayo.
Are you Oliver's father? Please, have a seat.
-
B
I was hoping you might still change his grade in Accounting.
-
A
I'm not the one who failed your son. His eleven absences did.
-
B
Labing-isa?
Eleven? That's impossible. He leaves every day in his uniform.
-
A
Here's his attendance record. After the midterms, he hardly came to class at all.
-
B
After the midterms? That's the month he started coming home at midnight.
-
A
Talk to him first. He's the one who owes you an explanation, not me.
