Day 66: Hacked Before Breakfast
Edward (A) wakes up to find that his Facebook account was hacked overnight, and he calls his college friend Jillian (B), who works in IT support.
How to study this lesson 3 steps
- Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
- Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense.
- Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Tagalog. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it yet.
Dialogue
Audio for this lesson is coming soon. For now, read the dialogue and its translation.

A
Jill, na-hack ang Facebook ko! Nanghihingi ng pera sa mga tita ko.
Jill, my Facebook got hacked! It's asking my aunts for money.
-
B
Kalma lang. Nakakapasok ka pa ba sa account mo?
Calm down. Can you still get into your account?
-
A
Yeah, but a lot of people already got the messages.
-
B
Change your password and turn on two-factor, so they can't get back in.
-
A
Done. But what if my aunts believe it?
-
B
Post right away that you got hacked, so nobody falls for it.

A
Mom just texted. Tita Lorna was about to send money, good thing she called Mom first.
