In their two-bedroom apartment in Malabon, Arlene (A) hears from her husband Cesar (B) that his aunt in Leyte wants them to take in her son, a fresh graduate, while he looks for work in Manila.

That was a long call with Tita Nena. She's asking for something, isn't she?

Si Jun-Jun, kaka-graduate lang. Dito raw muna siya habang naghahanap ng trabaho.
It's Jun-Jun. He just graduated. She wants him to stay with us while he looks for work.

Ilang buwan lang din ang usapan kay Arjay noon. Inabot ng isang taon.
With Arjay, it was supposed to be just a few months too. It turned into a year.

Masipag si Jun-Jun. Saka mahirap tumanggi kay Tita, siya ang nagpaaral sa akin.
Jun-Jun's a hard worker. Besides, it's hard to say no to Tita. She's the one who put me through school.
