Day 3 of 320

Day 3: Running Into Marco

At a jeepney stop, Rey (A) spots his friend Marco (B).

How to study this lesson 4 steps
  1. Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
  2. Press Play all and listen several times, until the sounds feel familiar. Do not repeat aloud: just listen and absorb. Point at (or tap) a Tagalog word to see what it means.
  3. Download the Anki deck below and review it every day. It has every line of today's dialogue with its audio. Review earlier decks too when Anki asks you to.
  4. Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Tagalog. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it yet.
