How to study this lesson 3 steps
- Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
- Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense.
- Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Tagalog. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it yet.
Dialogue
Audio for this lesson is coming soon. For now, read the dialogue and its translation.

Rading, gamitin mo ang andador. Marupok na ang mga buto mo!
Rading, use the walker. Your bones are brittle now!

Ayoko! Kaya ko pang maglakad nang mag-isa.
No way! I can still walk on my own.

Sa hagdan po, pakihawakan ninyo ang rehas. Aalalayan ko po kayo.
On the stairs, please hold on to the railing. I'll be there to support you.

Rehas lang, ha? Walang andador!
Just the railing, okay? No walker!
-
C
Opo, Lolo. Nilagyan ko na rin po ng goma ang hagdan.
Yes, Lolo. I've put rubber strips on the stairs too.
