Day 106: The Scanner Doesn't Know Her
Back at the office after the weekend, Linda (A) can't get past the new face-recognition attendance machine, and her coworker Michelle (B) comes over to see what's wrong.
How to study this lesson 3 steps
- Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
- Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense.
- Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Tagalog. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it yet.
Dialogue
Audio for this lesson is coming soon. For now, read the dialogue and its translation.

Michelle, nakakainis! Ayaw akong kilalanin ng makina.

-
B
Isuot mo kaya 'yung luma mong salamin, tapos subukan mo ulit.
Why don't you put on your old glasses and try again?
-
A

There, it worked! So I can't wear my new ones anymore?
