Day 68 of 215

Day 68: Every Paper Must Move Too

In their new house in Calamba, Laguna, Raul (A) and his wife Leah (B) go over the papers that still have to move with them from Manila.

How to study this lesson 3 steps
  1. Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
  2. Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense.
  3. Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Tagalog. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it yet.

Dialogue

Audio for this lesson is coming soon. For now, read the dialogue and its translation.

  1. A

I've had the Meralco account put in our name.

  2. B

Ayos.

Great. As for Comelec, we're getting our voter registration transferred on Saturday.

  3. A

And the kids' school records, did you have those transferred?

  4. B

Ha?

Huh? I thought you were going to their old school.

  5. A

Ako?

Me? But you're the one holding the request letter.

  6. B

Wala pa palang nag-asikaso! Ipapakuha ko na lang kay Mama.

So nobody's taken care of it yet! I'll just have Mom pick them up.
