How to study this lesson 3 steps
- Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
- Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense.
- Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Tagalog. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it yet.
Dialogue
Audio for this lesson is coming soon. For now, read the dialogue and its translation.

The gathering and sale of mussels and other shellfish from the coast of Bacoor remain prohibited. Thank you for watching.

It's a toxin, not a germ. Even if you boil it for an hour, it's still there.

B
Walang nakaintindi.
You did say that, but the way you put it was "cooking does not neutralize the toxin." Nobody got it.

You're right. Let's make the post simple: "Cooked or raw, mussels are still off-limits."

Let's add a picture of a cooking pot with an X on it. That gets through faster than "prohibited."
